About Me
2016-2018: Pre qualification of training - shadowing experienced IMDT trainer ( Institute of Modern Dog Training) and training Siberian huskies/ Malamutes .
Having adopted three Huskies/ Malamutes ourselves , I was passionate about training my pets correctly and scientifically, in order to promote mental and physical welfare and care for their upbringing whilst interacting with humans . The ideology I adopted was that of positive reinforcement ( Force-Free), classical conditioning and LIMA competent-based training
( least intrusive minimally aversive).
During the two years prior to my qualifications, I was studying under CPD ( Continuous Professional Development ) which encompassed the psychology and first aid behind the science of behavioural dog training . I found the knowledge fulfilling and enlightening whilst learning the different personality traits of all breeds of dogs being sentient and loyal companions .
From then on ,I would never be without a dog !
My mission statement today is to encourage new owners or handlers to experience the invaluable knowledge and benefits from taking quality time to train and bond with their canine companion/ companions .
